A Black Leather Steel-Boned Gothic Underbust Cupless Hourglass Corset with pulley-laced lattice and remote-controlled electro-stimulation circuitry, if worn properly, would both look good and also not let her get enough breath to scream, with facilitation of immediate stimulatory feedback for purposes of behavior modification and disciplinary action.

Otherwise known as the Electric Boa Constrictor, illegal in most countries of Europe, and rumored to be used in the slave trade for training and punishment.

Drool.

I can't find that anywhere on Google images. D:

My GRANDMOTHER used to wear stuff like that. No, wait! It was my GREAT grandmother.

I used to work at Victoria's secret over Christmas, and so I tried some on. Don't do anything for me, I'm too skinny, I don't have the guts to wear one.

Love,

Jamie

The behaviorists, starting with Pavlov (who would ring a bell to make dogs salivate), on through Skinner (consciousness and indeed intelligence is a by-product of learned behavior), knew that a subject could be "unconsciously trained" by manipulating the external stimulii (rewards and punishments).

Two important factors were the immediacy with which the stimulii was applied, and the intelligence of the subject (counterintuitively, the higher the intelligence, the more effective this method of training).

So if you take a stick, and beat a dog when it does something wrong, two things happen:  The dog avoids you and the stick, and second, the longer the time between the action and the punishment, the less likely the dog is to associate the action with the punishment.

This is why Pavlov used the "BELL".  He taught the dog that when the bell rang, reward would ALWAYS FOLLOW.  Then he could ring the bell for good behavior, and the effect was that reward could instantaneously follow the behavior, so that the dog could quickly understand precisely what behavior was being rewarded.

The interesting byproduct here was that the bell caused physiological changes (salivating and production of stomach juices).  That is, the training could bypass the consciousness of the subject, and directly influence behavior as well as desires and opinions.

A satire of this line of research is the old movie, A Clockwork Orange, with Malcolm McDowell.

An "invisible fence" actually DOES work, and very well.  When the dog approaches a property boundary, a shock collar will immediately "punish" being too close to the boundary.  The dog does not feel fear or pain, but simply loses interest in crossing the "invisible" boundary.  And this effect is usually permanent.

The reason that people are not "retrained" for sexual or social deviation is because of religious objections, not because the method doesn't work.

Imagine a dungeon that plays beautiful and soothing music, and under computer control, punishes undesireable behavior by putting static or "white noise" into the music.  More effective than waterboarding, and the effect is permanent.  A corset, then, could hold the equivalent of a dog's shock collar, providing a mild shock punishment, under computer control.

Enjoy.

Technically, its not punishment though, punishment doesn't really work for behavioral change.  Its negative reinforcement, which is subtlety different.  The dog doesn't stay inside the boundaries because it is afraid of the punishment for being outside the boundaries, he stays inside because it is much more pleasant to be inside the boundaries.

So to train her, you would need to have her corset provide a continuous shock UNLESS she was performing desirable behavior.

Just saying.

Interesting fantasy.  May I suggest the works of BF Skinner to clear this up for you?

I'm not trying to start an argument here.  Can we just discuss things here without it getting personal?

I may be wrong, I am going by what I was taught in class.  This is literally Psychology 101: link://allpsych.com/psychology101/reinforcement.html

or

link://www.mcli.dist.maricopa.edu/proj/nru/nr.html

or we could ask BF Skinner

link://webspace.ship.edu/cgboer/skinner.html

From the article:
"Skinner (contrary to some stereotypes that have arisen about behaviorists) doesn’t “approve” of the use of aversive stimuli -- not because of ethics, but because they don’t work well!  Notice that I said earlier that Johnny will maybe stop throwing his toys, and that I perhaps will take out the garbage?  That’s because whatever was reinforcing the bad behaviors hasn’t been removed, as it would’ve been in the case of extinction.  This hidden reinforcer has just been “covered up” with a conflicting aversive stimulus.  So, sure, sometimes the child (or me) will behave -- but it still feels good to throw those toys.  All Johnny needs to do is wait till you’re out of the room, or find a way to blame it on his brother, or in some way escape the consequences, and he’s back to his old ways.  In fact, because Johnny now only gets to enjoy his reinforcer occasionally, he’s gone into a variable schedule of reinforcement, and he’ll be even more resistant to extinction than ever! "

Basically, negative reinforcement enforces a behavior while punishment discourages a behavior.  Given that we are talking about training slave girls, we are trying to enforce a behavior (say, giving blowjobs on demand).

Punishment can be tricky.  For example, teaching a cat not to jump on the counter.  You can smack the cat every time it jumps on the counter.  As most people with experience with cats knows, this usually teaches the cat that in order to get fed, its got to get smacked first.  A successful way of teaching a cat to not jump on the counter is to simply not feed it until it gets off the counter.  I can say from personal experience that works.  The cat learned really quick.

Actually, according to behaviorists, the best way to train her would be positive reinforcement (say, her corset gave her an orgasm every time she gave you a blowjob).  But given this is rape club and everything, I am assuming that unpleasant methods would be their own reward (well, not so much for me, not into the pain thing myself, kind of like the idea of forcing her to have an orgasm every time I raped her).

It is, of course, a moot point.  Neither of us, hopefully, will actually be training any slave girls anytime soon.  So, sure, for the purposes of fantasy, anything goes.

But I see no harm in talking about actual behavioral psychology.

Again, not trying to shoot you down.  This isn't politics.  I just find the subject interesting and enjoy talking about it.

Oh, I'm so sorry, but Great Grandma died, in 1957 I think, or maybe 67. She was almost 100 I heard. She had a Shadowy Past, one of those things that when you ask mom and you're young she's like, "Ask me when you're older" and then when you're older she "can't remember."

Dad is very smart, and I got my "smart" genes from him. I figured out guys don't like "smart" girls, so I pretty much keep it under wraps. But I got my "slutty" genes from mom, who had a kid with her boss while still married to dad, and SHE got them from grandma, and SHE got them from Great Grandma. I don't know where she got them.

Love,

Jamie
